The Adventure
Center in Ashland, Oregon offers perfect Oregon
rafting trips for families. You can choose from family
rafting trips on 4 different rivers in Southern Oregon & Northern California. These trip
offer; fun, but non threatening rapids that the whole family
will enjoy, guides who are parents themselves, and great
activities on and off the river for kids. No experience is
necessary on our family trips. Everything is provided and
satisfaction is guaranteed. Trips range from ½ day
to multi-day options. We have a best price offer, matching
any competitor’s price, with Adventure Center superior
service.
Families can travel one of two ways: wilderness camping
or first class lodge accommodations. All camping trips
feature gourmet dining of your choice for all three meals
daily. Adventure Center lodge trips stay at the beautiful
Steamboat Inn on the banks of the North
Umpqua River and
include dinner, and breakfast at the lodge. Lunches are
served riverside during the day, by our world class guides.
We cater all family trips individually, taking into account
the children’s ages, for meals all members of the
family will enjoy. Before departing on your trip you will
speak directly to your guide so you plan all the details
together.
Most of our family trips are flexible so children of all
ages stay involved. Teenagers can explore in inflatable
kayaks staying near the raft while smaller children can
enjoy the river in the guided raft. Mom and dad can relax,
not having to entertain or cook for the family so they
can enjoy the natural environment of the river canyon.
